Yolanda Hestekin

Waterloo - Yolanda Hestekin, age 56 passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Rainbow Hospice, Johnson Creek. Yolanda was born on November 14, 1956 in Bogotá, Columbia, the daughter of Heriberto and Melba (Perez-Espejo) Londono. On February 20, 1999, she married Randy L. Hestekin in the Port of Miami, FL prior to embarking on their honeymoon. She earned an Associate Degree from William Rainey Harper College in Supervisory Administrative Management and worked in the hotel industry as a General Manager for many years. Yolanda loved adventure and never shied away from a new challenge. She loved walking with her beloved Labrador Retrievers and embraced every aspect of the outdoors. She is survived by her husband, Randy Hestekin; mother, Melba Londono of Bogota, Columbia; sons, Teddy Zuniga of Los Angeles, CA and Carlos Zuniga of Oakland, CA; brothers, Mario and Mauricio Londono and sister, Martha Londono all of Merced, CA and many other relatives and friends near and afar. She was preceded in death by her father, Heriberto Londono. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 on at 3:00 pm at SCHMUTZLER-VICK FUNERALHOME, 500 Welsh Rd., Watertown. A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 - 7:00 pm and then again one hour prior to the service. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.
