Wyman Wilson

Watertown - Wyman George Wilson, age 82, died on March 1, 2016 at the Marquardt Manor. Wyman was born on July 7, 1933 in Ft. Atkinson, the son of George and Florence (Schimek) Wilson. Wyman graduated from Ft. Atkinson High School where he participated in many sports including football and basketball. Wyman volunteered and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Upon coming home to the states he lived with his wife and children in Ft. Atkinson until 1974. He started working at Watertown Metals in 1974. The family moved to Watertown at this time. Wyman was a big sports fan, he always had 2 TV's on in his living room at all times. His dream was to have two 55" inch TV's before he died, and his dreams came true 2 years ago. Wyman is survived by three daughters, Cindy Keir of Ohio; Sandy (Chris) Thornquist and Faith Renata Brandenberg of Watertown; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and his ex-wife, Margaret Wilson of Ft. Atkinson. Wyman was preceded in death by his parents, his ex-wife, Josephine Wilson in 2000 and a sister, Joyce Ornduff. Private memorial services will be held at a later date at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
