Warren Stark

MARSHALL--Warren William Stark, age 95, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at home in Marshall. Hart-Vick Funeral Home of Marshall is assisting the family. He was born on January 14, 1923, one of 3 children to Walter and Margaret (Brietzman) Stark. After he got out of the army, Warren met and married Delores Bergholz on June 10, 1944. Warren and Delores settled in Sun Prairie for two years and then moved back to Marshall. He farmed south of Marshall where he also had a milk route. He worked in porcelain in Sun Prairie until he retired in 1985. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marshall. Warren enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and playing golf. He is survived by his sister Bernadine Christianson of Cambridge; two children, Kathleen Schernecker of Tigerton and Dean (Julie) Stark of Marshall; five grandchildren, Gregg (Joann), Timm (Nanette), John (Jennifer), Mike (Teri) and Casey; nine great-grandchildren, Bradley, Brett, Ryan (Michelle), Derek, Ashley, Melissa, Paige(Aaron), Brooke and Kirstin; four great great-grandchildren, Bella, Kylie, Brinley and Landon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Delores;brother Arthur, and son-in-law, Kenneth Schernecker.
