WATERTOWN Victoria E. Gigante Miller, age 69 passed away after complications with an illness on Sunday, September 14, 2014. She was born on May 15, 1945 in West Allis, the daughter of Alfonso J. and Lillian E. (Kock) Moreno. A memorial service will be held at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Victoria was an extremely talented artist. Her passion for art flowed onto the canvas with each painting or drawing she did. Victoria humbly painted for her family and friends pictures to share in her creative landscapes as well as donated her art work to different clubs for raffles and gifts. She also had a love for music and horses. Victoria enjoyed showing dogs and would even take it one step further by sculpting cakes to resemble the dogs. She was a devout follower of Christ. She thanked God every day for the good life she had. Victoria was a proud, proud, American patriot. She advocated for free speech and for standing up for one's rights. Victoria was a devoted family matriarch and was always present, encouraging her family in all their endeavors. She was loyal friend and maintained strong friendships in her inner circle. In her free time, she loved going up north to walk the trails and just appreciate what nature had to offer. Victoria also enjoyed picking berries on her walks and making jelly for everyone to delight in. Her life that she spent with Harry and learning he's "trades" was a wonderful time. Victoria and Harry had a full life of building bluebird houses, growing prize winning orchids and dancing especially ballroom dancing. She will be greatly missed for her feisty disposition and zest for life. She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Roger) Wolfgram of Watertown; sons, Don L. Gigante of Verona and William (Vicki) Gigante of Minocqua; 5 grandchildren, Natasha, Sean, Joshua, Rachel and Zachary; 5 great-grandchildren, Alex, Brinley, Benjamin, Gianni and one-on-the-way; siblings, Carmen, Balko (Bill), David Morino, Deanna Moreno, Alice O'Brien, Lillian Moreno and Delano Alfonso (Nancy) Moreno; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant twin; husband, Harry Miller; sibling, Louis Moreno, James Moreno and Robert Moreno. The family sends sincere thanks for all the love and care extended to them by Rainbow Hospice, Meriter Hospital and especially the nurses on floors 8, 10 & 11, Dr. Hei's, and staff and to Dr. Mackay and staff at Turville Bay.
