Veronica Hoeft

HOEFT, VERONICA J. HELENVILLE Veronica J. Hoeft, age 69, passed away on Thursday evening October 31, 2012 at her home. Veronica was born on September 8, 1943 in Mauston, the daughter of Michael and Lenore (Cowan) Powers. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1961. Veronica had been a chef for the Marshfield Eagles Club, food service director for the Granton School District and had been a chef at various restaurants. Survivors include her Mother Lenore Powers of Beaver Dam, her son Michael P. (Lisa) Bornick of Oakfield, a grandson Bryce Bornick, a sister Sheree (Dave) Neuman of Randolph, 2 brothers Richard (Genevieve) Powers of Hartford and Daniel Powers of Beaver Dam, dear friend Allen Last of Helenville, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands Kenneth Bornick and William Hoeft, her father a niece and 2 nephews. A memorial service was held on Sunday November 4, 2012 at 3 PM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service 500 Welsh Road Watertown, with Father Jorge Miramontes of St. Henry Catholic Church officiating.Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 PM to 3 PM at the funeral home.
