Tracey Roberts

Tracey L. Roberts, age 47 of Watertown, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 24, 1966 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn (Ottum) Hoffman. A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 2 pm with a visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon. Pastor Todd Iverson will be presiding. Tracey brought joy and happiness to the lives of everyone she met. She was a special soul who will be remembered with a warm smile by all who knew her. She graduated from Ripon College in 1988 with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations and worked for several years in the private sector. She married Ethan in 1991 after a whirlwind romance that continued until the day she died. Her passion was her husband and three children. In addition to being a stay-at-home mom, she took on the challenging job of home-schooling for the last several years. She was a devoted Christian and an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, singing in the Praise band on Sundays and volunteering along with her children at the Personal Essentials Pantry. Her hobbies included reading, playing guitar, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Ethan; three children, Xander, Logan, and Kaylee; parents, Chuck and Kathy Hoffman; sister Pamela; brother Matthew; and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
