Thomas Schamens

Thomas E. Schamens, age 76, of Watertown passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Watertown Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Tom had been a janitor in the Watertown School District for 24 years, retiring in 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Schamens; step-daughters, Sandra (James) Jerabek and Barbara Bever; and brothers, Robert, Richard and William. He was a special grandfather to Kaylema, Brian, Terra and Tammy. Tom had 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orlin and Alice Schamens; first wife, Margaret in 1972; second wife, Shirley in 2009; four brothers and a sister. Services will be held in Sparta at a later date. Memorials to the family would be appreciated. Memorials: To the family Service: Will be held in Sparta, Wisconsin at a later date.
