Ted Rogahn James, 80, Hustisford, died May 16, 2017, after a long illness at his home. He was born Oct. 10, 1936, to the late Clifford and Esthyr (Rogahn) James. He attended numerous schools and graduated from Burlington High School in 1955. At BHS he was an outstanding basketball player and was selected by the coaches as first Team All Conference and First Team Racine County. He received degrees in business administration and accounting at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He worked in marketing capacities at Cutler-Hammer, Durant, Eaton and started Ad/Mark Marketing Services Agency from which he retired after 18 years. He was a 55-year member of Damascus Lodge No. 290 F. & A.M. and the American Legion, Hustisford, Post No. 420. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sharon (Braun) James; children, Jeff (Angie) James, Peggy (John) James Striepling., Sarah (Troy) Wendorf; grandchildren, Evan and Laura James, Grady and Lane Wendorg; sister, Gloria (James) Ziegler; brother and sister-in-law, Clifford (Karen) James. He was further preceded in death his in-laws, brother-in-law, David Ziegler; dear friend, Robert Tolson, and other relatives. Private family internment with military honors is in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove. In lieu of flowers, please consider Brotherly Love to the Masonic Charities.
