Susan Johnson

Marshall - Susan J. (Harris) Johnson, age 65, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on June 16, 1949 in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Lee and Evelyn (Markley) Harris. Susan's first job was with AT&T in Madison where she worked as an operator. She later moved into management and retired after 30 years. Susan married Robert Johnson on December 13, 1975. She enjoyed gardening, canning the tomatoes from her garden and also putting puzzles together. Susan especially enjoyed supervising the yard work that Robert did. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert; siblings, Ron (Pat) Harris, Bob (Karen) Harris, Kathy (Rick) Bausch; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jim Metcalf. A memorial service will be held at MARSHALL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jan Beutin presiding. Burial will immediately follow at Medina Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Those wishing to express sympathy through memorials may direct them to Agrace HospiceCare. The family sends sincere thanks for all the love and care extended to them the last few days by the staff at the MICU at St. Mary's Hospital and Agrace HospiceCare.
