Stephen Frederick Ziehm, age 64, of Watertown, passed away at Marquardt Village on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Steve was born in Milwaukee to Peter and Virginia Ziehm. After graduation from Oconomowoc High School, he joined the Army, serving in Frankfort, Germany, from 1973 to 1976. He was a long-time resident of Watertown retiring from the former US Chemical Company after almost 20 years. Steve was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars and the American Legion Post 91 in Oconomowoc. He was very passionate about marching in the Color Guard for the American Legion. He was an avid reader of military history, owning an extensive library, especially about WWII. Steve will be missed by his loving brother, Perry Ziehm of Elroy, WI, a nephew, Timothy (Mandy) Ziehm of Oconomowoc, and step-siblings, Jeffrey Ziehm, Kimberly Quinn, Nicole Wilhelm, and Cory Ziehm, all residing in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, June 8th, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. with the Reverend Ray Bezanson, officiating and presentation of the Honor Guard to follow.
