Watertown - Sandra Lee Cooper, nee Scheel of Watertown was born May 31, 1943, in the Township of Emmet. The daughter of Erwin Scheel and Myrtle (Reese) Scheel, she attended St. John's Lutheran School where she was confirmed and graduated from. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Watertown. She later graduated from Watertown High School. She was the manager and waitress for Rhennebom Drugs in Madison, WI, who was known statewide for their "Bucky Burgers" because of their special sauces. She worked at Ray's in Jefferson, WI for many years. She loved country music and went to Nashville, TN many times following Loretta Lynn who's daughter owned a bar in Eagle River, WI. She loved and attended the horse shows, her granddaughter, Haley Cooper competed in with her Egyptian Arabian, Amtal, who won many top horse awards. She loved to watch the many sports her grandchildren Isabella and Dylan Schaefer competed in winning many awards. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Jerry) Schaefer of Dousman, WI; a daughter Cindy Cooper of Jefferson, WI; grandchildren, Haley Cooper of Watertown, WI; Isabella and Dylan Schaefer of Dousman, WI; a sister, Evelyn Truesdell (Tom) of Kenosha, WI; a niece, Jana Truesdell of London, England and a nephew, Tony Truesdell of Kenosha, WI. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin and Myrtle Scheel; her grandparents, Charles and Martha Scheel and Erwin and Leona Reese; and a nephew, Jason Truesdell. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the St. John's Ladies Aide, 304 North Sixth Street, Watertown WI 53094. Private memorial services will be held at a later date at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home. Burial - St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown.
