RADTKE, RUTH M. WATERTOWN Ruth M. Radtke, age 93, passed away on Sunday June 17, 2012 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 30, 2012 at 11 AM at First Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor John Kennedy officiating. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at the church. Memorials to the church would be appreciated. Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at watertownwifuneralhome.com. The former Ruth M. Jarmer was born on January 20, 1919 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Herman and Hazel (Weeks) Jarmer. On November 9, 1940 she married Raymond Radtke whom preceded her in death on December 21, 1999. Ruth and her husband had owned Radtke's Red Bell in Ixonia from 1947 to 1968 and then she was a Registered Nurse with Jefferson County Home Health. Ruth was a member of First Congregational United Church of Christ and the Watertown Senior and Community Center. She was an avid card player. Survivors include their children Bonnie (Don) Lund of Stevens Point, William (Sharon) Radtke of Soldotna, Alaska, Richard (Kaye) Radtke of Waukesha and Susan (Larry) Gillingham of Watertown, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren two sisters Mildred (Carl) Hensel of Eau Claire and Betty Huebner of Watertown, She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ruth is further preceded in death by her parents.
