Most of Bob's years were spent farming the 110 acres that are now known as The Grandview Heights Subdivision. After farming he enjoyed many different jobs but found the most enjoyment being a greeter at Walmart. Bob enjoyed playing sheepshead with friends and family and found the greatest delight when he would walk an ace. He also enjoyed bowling, keeping an immaculate lawn, and watching Wisconsin sports teams, especially the Brewers and Packers. He will be remembered for his smile, great sense of humor, storytelling, and love for his family. Bob is survived by his loving children, Robert (Linda) of Watertown, Ralph of Watertown, and Jeffery (Karen) of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was the proud grandfather of Robert Jr. (Lindsay), Melissa (Austin) Kauth, Nicole, Christopher; Tara; and step-grandfather of Calvin Gruss. He was great - grandfather to Kameron and Noah and great-step-grandpa to Jessie, Mason, Olivia, and Alice. He was the dear brother of Doris Schroeder of Cambridge and brother-in-law to Doris Stangler of Delevan and Ellie (Wuestenberg) Pernat of Watertown. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends whom he held close to his heart. He was further preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, one sister, daughter Linda, and daughter-in-law Lynn. In lieu of flowers, memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to The Highland House of Watertown or Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin.
