Robert Drays

DRAYS,  ROBERT  J. Robert J. "Biff" Drays, age 76, formerly of Ixonia, passed away on Friday October 28, 2016. Robert John Drays was born on May 26, 1940 in Watertown, the son of Julius and Marie (Buske) Drays. He served in the Marine Corp. from 1958 to 1962 in Japan and Vietnam. On January 13, 1968 he married Pegi Gendrich in Waukesha. He had been employed at Milwaukee Electric Tool for 37 years and was a bartender at Mapleway Bowl in Oconomowoc for many years as well. Biff was a member of Dr. Martin Luther Church in Oconomowoc, the Ixonia Lion's Club and the Oconomowoc Men's Bowling Assoc. He was inducted into the Oconomowoc Men's Bowling Hall of Fame in 1996. Biff had played softball in the Ixonia and Ashippun over 40 league, he was an avid Packers fan and was a Wisconsin sports nut. Survivors include his wife Pegi, their children DeeDee Drays, Bryan (Cindy) Drays and David (Christa) Drays, grandchildren Brady, Brittany and Blake Drays and Breckon and Revson Hill. He is also survived by two sisters Phyllis (LaVern) Zoellick and Mary Hilty, three step brothers Thys Jones, Al (Nancy) Jones and George (Carol) Jones, a step sister Zelma Carlson, a sister in law Marietta (Gene Draeger) Gendrick, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceeded in death by a son Bob Drays, his parents, step mother Ceil Jones, step brother Roy Jones and father and mother in law Erv and Maggie Gendrich Funeral services will be on Monday November 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Dr. Martin Luther Church in Oconomowoc, with Pastor Larry Harpster officiating. Family and friends may call on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church. A Military Honors service will follow the services at the church.
