Rick Bulman

BULMAN, RICK L. WATERTOWN Rick L. Bulman, age 57, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Rick was born on August 8, 1954 in Edgewood, Iowa, the son of Roland and Mary (Faust) Bulman. Rick lived in Cuba City, WI; attended Cuba City High School and Southwest Tech. He worked for John Deere for 10 years prior to joining Gardner Manufacturing in Horicon, where he was employed for 27 years. Rick married Marna Moravec, his high school sweetheart, on September 17, 1983. They laughed, loved, and enjoyed their lives together for 28 years and were blessed with four children. Rick was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church where he coached basketball and was actively involved in his children's sporting events. Rick was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed motorcycling the Wisconsin highways. Rick and his family enjoyed summers at their trailer at Crystal Lake. He loved to spend time with his five little granddaughters. Rick is survived by his wife Marna, their children Casey (Michelle) of Somerset, WI; James of Watertown; Julie (Jordan) of Horicon and Kelly of Watertown; five granddaughters Brianna, Haidyn, Rachel, Bridget and Kaytlyn; his siblings Harriet (Wayne) Burgin of Strawberry Point, IA; Pat (Jackie) Bulman of Horicon; Mike (MJ) Bulman of Connorsville, WI; Roxy Phillips of Texas and Roland (Colleen) Bulman of Eau Claire. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and his special friends Tom, Mark, Dan and Bob. Rick was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call on Thursday, February 9th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, rosary will be recited at 3:30 PM, at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home, Watertown. Visitation will also be held on Friday, February 10th after 1:00 PM at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. A mass celebrating Rick's life will be held on Friday, February 10th at 2:00 PM with Father Jorge Miramontes. Private burial will be held at a later date.
