Raymond R. Lamp, 92, of Watertown, WI, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Raymond was born on January 29, 1933, to Arthur and Orlanda (Fehrman) Lamp on a farm in the Town of Delafield, WI. He was married for more than 68 years to the love of his life, Kathleen A. Brandt. They lived in Waukesha, Delafield, Clyman, and Watertown. Ray farmed for many years in the township of Delafield before purchasing a farm in the township of Clyman, later working for Aunt Nellies in Clyman before fully retiring at the age of 80. Ray proudly served our country in the Korean War with the US Army from December 1954 to May 1956.
He is survived by 7 sons and 2 daughters. Martin (Rita), Fred (Roxanne), Ted (Charleen), Christopher (Dana), Anne (Harold Finn), Shawn (Kim), Kevin (Taryn), Rory (Kris), Bernadette (Andrew May), and Robin Trebitowski, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Alice. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Michael, 5 brothers, David (Eulalia), Herman, Lawrance, Art Jr. (Marjorie), Francis (Jeanette). 3 sisters, Dorothy (Roland Haut), Jeanette (Marvin Bartan), June (Frank Bralick).
If desired, memorials in Ray's name may be made to a charity of one's choosing.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Marquardt Chapel with Rev. Ray Bezanson presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the chapel. Following the service, guests are invited to join the family for a time of fellowship at the Clyman Lions Hall.
