Ralph W. Spoerle, 86, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at his home in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He was born on July 13, 1929 in Montfort, Wisconsin. the son of Phillip and Mae Spoerle. Ralph served in the US Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Josephine (Tranchita), two daughters: Beverly (Dennis) Lynde of Long Grove, Illinois, and Susan Spoerle of Hot Springs, Arkansas. sisters Kathryn Mitchell, Caroline Wolenec, brother Richard, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ralph moved his family to Watertown in 1961 where he partnered in the One Hour Martinizing Dry Cleaning business for three years. Then purchased a neighborhood tavern, the Sunset Bar, and ran it for twenty years before retiring. He also remodeled homes on the side in addition to constructing a large part of their new home built in 1976. In 2000 Ralph and his wife moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Fritz, Harold, and Gottlieb, a sister Jean Kelly, three nieces, Cathy Jo Van Gilder, Sharon Willard and LouAnn Kelly. A Memorial Service will be held at Schmutlzer-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Saturday, June 11th. Visitation from 9:30 - 11:00 with a short service to follow at the funeral home.
