Pamela J. Schmidt, age 66 years, a lifelong resident of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018, after a long illness. Pamela was born to Edwin Buss and Phyllis (Buss) Dittmann on October 25, 1951, at Watertown Hospital. In 1969, she graduated from Watertown High School and on April 22, 2004, she married Guy Schmidt in Jamaica. Pamela was a waitress for 20 years and voted the best waitress in Watertown, twice. Later in her life, she went on to cosmetology school and became a practicing beautician, a profession she truly enjoyed. Pamela will be greatly missed by her husband, two sons; Chad Buss and Brandon Buss, 4 grandchildren; Alex, Destiny, Breezi and Cylas, a brother, Randy Buss, a sister; Roxanne Baumann and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Carl Buss and stepfather, John Dittmann. A visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Watertown. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. with the Reverend Ray Bezanson officiating. A gathering to celebrate Pamela's life will be held at a later date.
