Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM at the church. Nolan was born on August 14, 2008 in Madison, the son of Jason and Lori (Sterba) Schwager. Nolan was a very active, social little boy who loved life and had a special spark about him. His intelligence was extraordinary, and his perception of life was well beyond his years. Nolan had a witty personality and loved to laugh. He had his Daddy's spirit and strength and his Momma's loving ways and kind heart. Some of his favorite things to do were go for a walk, feed the ducks, read books, jog, jog, jog and jog some more, drive Daddy's big truck, dig dirt, mow the lawn, golf and ride his bike. Thomas the Tank Engine, construction equipment, fire trucks and police cars were some of his favorite things. After Nolan's unrelenting fight, he passed away Friday, July 29, 2011, due to complications from cancer. Our special little angel Nolan will live forever in our hearts. Nolan is survived by his parents Jason and Lori, maternal grandparents David and Mary Sterba of Hillsboro, paternal grandparents Karl and Darlene Schwager of Eagle River, aunts and uncles Tami Kepler, Shari Sterba and Mark Rayha, Scott and Jessi Sterba, Brad and Jeanne Schwager and Jake and Nicole Schwager, cousins Chloe, Gwen, David, Carter, Tyler and Tessa.
