Michael Cassidy

Michael P. Cassidy (Coach), 66, of Fox Lake/Watertown passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at his home.

Michael was born on October 8, 1953 in Platteville, the son of Roman and Roberta Tischler. He graduated from Watertown High School where he exceled in wrestling. He later graduated from UW Oshkosh with a teaching and coaching degree. Michael had a passion for fishing and being out on the lake, he also loved watching all Wisconsin sports. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his dog Koda. He will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Michael is survived by his mother Roberta Tischler, loving partner and soulmate Nicole Brown, sisters Pat (Bill) Polensky, Connie (Jack) McFarland, loving nieces and nephews, his only surviving Uncle Tom Hastert, and his best friends Bruce Loeb, Mike Riedl, Ryan Brown, and Nicole Browns family. He is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and many uncles.

A friends and family gathering will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home in Watertown.
