Mary A. Schmidt

Mary A. Schmidt, 69, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 11, 2023, at her home.

Mary was born on February 6, 1954, in Watertown, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Zurfluh) Giese. She worked as a department head at Farm and Fleet for many years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time at the Watertown Senior Center, enjoyed playing BINGO, watching movies, and going to the casino. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to have known her.

Mary is survived by her children: Theresa (Scott Lenius) Schmidt, Walter (Carrie) Schmidt, and Christopher (Nancie Dominguez) Schmidt. 6 grandchildren: Marquelle (Paige), Madison, Mason, Austin, Anjelina, and Julia. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Helen.

A friends and family gathering will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home in Watertown.
