Marie Lemminger

LEMMINGER, MARIE M. WATERTOWN Marie M. Lemminger, age 100 passed away on Wednesday January 11, 2012 at Golden Lining Center in Watertown. Marie M. Schaefer was born on February 13, 1911 in Stratford, WI, the daughter of Adolph and Alvina (Spaeth) Schaefer. In April of 1929 she married Alphonse Lemminger in Milwaukee, and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2001. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Survivors include her children Alphonse (Carol) Lemminger, Jr. of Hayward; Richard (Diane) Lemminger of Hubertus; Robert (Rita) Lemminger of Menomonee Falls; Joan Struble of Mauston and James (Mary) Lemminger of Hayward; 26 grandchildren 56 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren, a brother Bernie (June) Schaefer of Oshkosh, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Marcella and Irene Nellen and two brothers Roland and Joseph Schaefer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at noon at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert celebrating. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Monday from 10:00 AM to noon at the church. Memorials to St. Bernard's Catholic Church or Marquardt Hospice would be appreciated.
