Lyle Shaiken

SHAIKEN LYLE A. WATERTOWN Lyle E. Shaiken, age 82,passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2011 at Golden Living Center. Lyle was born on January 23, 1929 in Milwaukee, the son of Sam and Olive (Marquardt) Shaiken. He married the former Gloria Hotmar on April 2, 1955 in Rockford, IL., she preceded him in death on September 12, 2003. Lyle had served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He had been a Police Officer in Watertown. Survivors include his children Linda (Jerry) Post of Whitewater, Lori (Richard) Schultz of Watertown and Robert Shaiken of Watertown, grandchildren Joshua (Michelle) Post, Jennifer (fianc Zach) Post, Cady (Ben) Wolf and Anna Schultz, great grandchildren Kyle Wolf and Brayden Schultz, a brother Ronald Schultz of Belgium, a niece Eve (Joel) Orwig a grandniece Sarah, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home And Cremation service is serving the family.
