Lyall Hutchins

Watertown - Lyall Roger Hutchins, age 81, died on July 16, 2016 while at his home surrounded by his family. Lyall was born on October 11, 1934 in Mauston, WI, the son of Arthur and Alma (Langer) Hutchins. Lyall was married to Dorothy Ann Neustadter. Lyall worked for many years as a welder at Crepaco prior to the purchase of his hog farm in 1964. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, playing cards and riding his ATV around his farmland. Lyall will be remembered by his distinctive laugh. Lyall is survived by his five children, Jeff (Mitsuko) Hutchins, Roxane (Craig) Lang, Chuck (Jill) Hutchins, Denise (Terry) Yandre and Jennifer (Eddie) Owen . 11 grandchildren, Jessica (Cody) Rutter, Scott (Chelsea) Lang, Dan Hutchins, Nicki (Adam) Kelly, Marty Hutchins, Jacob Yandre, Kristopher Yandre, Morgan (Michael) Sampson, Joe Delaney, Alexa Owen, Marcus Owen ; 4 great-grandchildren Liam and Chloe Rutter, Gage Lang, Graycen Kelly. A brother Gary (Sharon) Hutchins, a sister Janice Langendorff and good friends Marcus and Lisa. Lyall was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Dorothy on April 19 2007, 2 brothers Donald and Arthur Hutchins and 3 sisters Margaret Arntz, Doris Hakomaki and Ethyl Preuss. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to your favorite charity. A celebration of life for Lyall's family and friends will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016 from 1-5 pm at his farm on Engelhart Road. The Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home in Watertown is assisting the family.
