ECKERT,  LORETTA  C. WATERTOWN    Loretta C. Eckert, age 94, passed away on Thursday November 26, 2015 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Pastor Karl Walther officiating. Burial will be in the  Ixonia Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral and on Saturday after 9:00 AM. Online condolences may be left at svfuneralhome.com. Loretta Clara Oschmann was born on February 16, 1921 in Watertown, the daughter of Ernst and Bertha (Schmidt) Oschmann. On December 30, 1939 she married Myrle Eckert at St. John's Lutheran Church in Ixonia, he preceded her in death on January 19, 1992. Loretta had been employed at Bethesda Lutheran Home and the former Hevi  Duty. She was a member of St. Mark's Ev. Lutheran Church and AARP 33056 and a former member of the Plattdeutscher  Verein Aux. and  Wethonthica Aux. She enjoyed playing bingo and checkers and spending time with her grandchildren. Loretta is survived by her children Robert (Chris) Eckert, Betty (Lyle) Craker, Joanne Cloutier, Donald (Sharon) Eckert, Richard (Mary) Eckert, Larry (Cindy) Eckert, Laurie Eckert and Kenneth (Karri) Eckert, grandchildren Brent, Greg, Karen, Nancy, Sarah, Rachel, Dawn, Becky, Mary, Todd, Jonathon, Lisa, Matthew, Kirsten, Margaret, Michael, Sadie, Daniel, Quincy, Cameron, Keegan and Madeline, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a brother Willard Oschmann, 2 sisters Genevieve Schanon and Patricia Leverenz, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is further preceded in death by her parents and siblings Irene Strauss, Martin Oschmann, Arnold Oschmann, Florence Butor, Ardella Sellnow, Ernest Oschmann, Jr., Annamae Baumann Doris Domann and Doretta Romig.
