Lloyd Mielke

WATERTOWN Lloyd H. Mielke, age 76, passed away on Wednesday October 23, 2013, with his family by his side. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2 PM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert officiating. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 12 Noon to 2 PM at the funeral home. Lloyd Howard Mielke was born on January 23, 1937 in Waukon, Iowa, the son of Lloyd L. ,and Mildred (Hager) Mielke. He served in the US Army from 1955 to 1959. On January 31, 1959, he married the former Cynthia Slaboszewski in Milwaukee. Lloyd had been employed as a local truck driver for Roadway Express and Darling Freight Lines, he had been a member of Teamsters Local #200. Lloyd is survived by his wife Cynthia, their children Randall (Tammy) Mielke, Scott Mielke, Debra (Ronald) Smith, Jacqueline (Jae) Ames, Kelley (Laura) Mielke and Stephanie Fischer, 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren a sister Kaylynn (Dave) Lychwick, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Dephamae Hartley and Elaine Kennedy.
