Kathleen A. Langer, passed away peacefully on November 20th, 2019 surrounded by family at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek. Kathy was born to Emil and Genevieve (Mand) Kopplin on April 12,1953 in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Watertown High School in 1971. On October 30, 1983 Kathy was united in marriage to Donald F. Langer in the Chapel at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. What was most important to Kathy were the people in her life & making memories. She was a good listener, compassionate and caring, offering helpful advice to anyone who needed it. Creative and loving, she enjoyed crafting a variety of items; from sewing princess dresses and costumes for the kids and grandkids, to curtains, blankets, pillows & table runners. Kathy opened her house to many family gatherings, it was the heart of the family, a place we could all go to feel at home. Her favorite past time was playing board games & word games. She was competitive and loved a good challenge. She was a great hugger and loved to receive them. Kathy is survived by her husband, Donald F. Langer of Watertown; mother, Genevieve Kopplin of Watertown; daughters: Connie Milligan of Waukesha, Christi (Shawn) Justmann of Watertown, and Lisa (Josh) Storck of Watertown; twelve grandchildren, Codi, Kayla, Ashley, Amanda, Jonathan, Calli, Dakota, Hunter, Graham, Dillion, Adam, and Brady; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie; siblings, Barb (Dick) Krueger of Tomahawk, Bob (Cathy) Kopplin of Milwaukee, Joanne Kopplin of Watertown, Chas (Cheryl) Kopplin of Davisburg, MI, Dave (Debbie) Kopplin, Jim (Nancy) Kopplin, John (Wendy) Kopplin, Bill (Barb) Kopplin all of Watertown; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father Emil Kopplin. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 12:00 p.m.at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 500 Welsh Road, Watertown, Wisconsin. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
