MORATTI, JOSEPH E. WATERTOWN Joseph E. Moratti, age 76, passed away on Tuesday May 25, 2010 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11 AM at St. Henry Catholic Church with Father Brian Wilk officiating. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Joseph was born on February 18, 1934 in Iron Mountain, MI, the son of August and Marie Moratti. Joe served in the US Coast Guard from 1952 to 56. On October 29, 1960 he married the former Marlyn Christiansen in Scofield, WI. Joe retired from the US Postal Service, after 32 years of service. For the last 10 years he worked part time for Bethesda. He was a member of the Last Man Club in Milwaukee. Joe was an avid gardener and reader and he enjoyed doing puzzles. Survivors include his wife Marlyn, their sons Mike Moratti of Waukesha and Jeff Moratti of Watertown, two grandchildren Katerina and Kenny, two sisters Marlene Alessandrini and Rose Marie Lundell both of Iron Mountain, MI, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother August Moratti.
