NOON, JOHN M. WATERTOWN John M. Noon, age 91, passed away on Friday April 6, 2012 at Marquardt Memorial Manor. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at Bethany Chapel at Marquardt Memorial Manor with Mon. Daniel Ganshert celebrating. Family burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 10 AM to 11 AM at the chapel. Masses or memorials to St. Bernard's Catholic Church would be appreciated. John Martin Noon was born on May 21, 1920 in Watertown, the son of Martin and Ruth (Voss) Noon. On November 22, 1947 he married the former Helen McFarland at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on September 4, 2009. John and Helen had farmed in the Watertown area and raised purebred Holsteins. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. John enjoyed bowling and reading. John is the last member of his immediate family, he is survived by cousins Robert Noon of Watertown; Vernon Noon of Aurora, CO.; Jack Noon of Laredo, TX; Hazel Miller of Mapleton; Mary Armstrong of Oconomowoc; Rose Scharpf of Hartford and Judy Rebholz of Columbus, other relatives and friends. He is further preceded in death by his parents.
