John Dittmann

John Ernst Dittmann of Watertown, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 after a short illness at Rainbow Hospice Care in Johnson Creek, WI. John, a lifelong resident of Watertown, was born to George W. and Helen M. Dittmann on July 20, 1933. On November 11, 1972, he married Phyllis June Aumann at St. John's Lutheran Church in Watertown. He was a lifelong member of St. John's and very devoted to his church. John spent 7 years in the National Guard, 30 years working on construction and 20 + years as custodian for St. John's Lutheran School. In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Packer and Brewer's games. John will be deeply missed by his children; Cindy (John) George of Oconomowoc, Thomas (Anna) Dittmann of Watertown, Timothy Dittmann of Fort Atkinson, James (Ame) Dittmann of New Paris, IN, Randy (Linda) Buss of Watertown, Pamela (Guy) Schmidt of Watertown, Roxanne Baumann (Barney) of Watertown, grandson Christopher (Alyssa) Dittmann of Watertown, granddaughters, Jordan (Candice) Dittmann, Kori Dittmann and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Harold "Pinney" of Watertown, and brother-in-law Ken (Vicki) Drost of Granton, WI. He is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Dittmann, parents, brothers; William, George, Jr., Clarence and sisters; Esther Lewis and Marion King. A visitation will be held at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. followed by a funeral service with the Honorable Rev.
