Janet D. Nimm

Janet D. Nimm, 69, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Watertown Regional Medical Center.

Janet was born on June 4, 1955, in Ellendale, ND, the daughter of Lawrence and Frances (Phillips) Palmer. She married the love of her life Gary Nimm on August 11, 2001 and the couple enjoyed 23 years of marriage. Janet had a passion for astrology, and a love for cooking, grilling, and baking. She enjoyed trying new recipes and hosting family dinners, and everything was always very delicious! Janet was very talented with arts and crafts; she could take an idea she saw and turn it into her own beautiful work of art. She was proud of her plants, flowers, outdoor decorations, windchimes, and lighting around the house. Janet and Gary could be found at their seasonal campground in Palmyra every weekend in the summer when they were not working. Janet had a heart of gold; she was always there for anyone that needed anything. She was extremely confident, and worked hard to care for her family, and you would never hear her complain. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

Janet is survived by her husband Gary, children: Tequila Uttech, Shane (Shannon) Rundquist, Shannon Arenz, Andi Nimm, Jesse Nimm, and Tiffany Nimm. Grandchildren: Nicole, Debra, Heather, Brandi, Michael, Tyler, Dylan, Kyle, Karsen, Maile, Dylan, Calista, and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren Jaelyn, Kraig III, and Nevayah.

Per Janets wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
