Jane Lyons

November 21, 1946 — June 13, 2019

Jane Lyons (Steinhorst) was born in Watertown, WI to Arnold and Ruth Steinhorst. She entered into her heavenly reward on June 13, 2019. She was graduate of Watertown High School and Alverno College. In her final years she was an avid fan of the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers; but her true passions was her flowers and helping others. She had a great impact on many lives. As a 2nd grade and kindergarten teacher for 20 years she taught and helped many. Her health issues did not allow her to do many things, but she always found a way to do something. Whether is was making a phone call, sending a card, sending over a bouquet of flowers from her garden, clipping coupons for veterans, or just listening. She was a loving, strong, giving, and kind daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, teacher, mentor, sponsor, and friend. She is love by and missed by many. She is survived by her brother Robert (Dot) Steinhorst, her sons John (Kristine) Lyons and Joe Lyons, grandsons Joseph Lyons and Nicholas Lyons, and several cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Her family would especially like to thank the staff at Angels of Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc for making her final days peaceful as possible. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Watertown at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services. In leu of flowers the family requests donations to Angels of Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, WI.
