Henry Wild

Henry "Hank" L. Wild, Jr, 82, Marshall, died peacefully on Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 7, 1935, in the township of York, WI, the son of the late Henry and Grace (Krull) Wild, Sr. He graduated from Marshall High School, class of 1954. In 1956 he was drafted into the U.S. Army and later became an active member of the Army National Guard. He married Irene Braunschweig on January 5, 1957. He and his wife, Irene, enjoyed many evenings singing karaoke and dancing. Henry had owned and operated Henry Wild Builders in Marshall. After retirement, he mowed and rolled lawns in the area and plowed snow. He was able to fix anything or make anything. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He was active with many friends and family was very important to him. Survivors include his wife, Irene; three children, Russell (Tracy) Wild of Marshall, Marilyn Wild of DeForest, Ronald Wild of Marshall; seven grandchildren, Amber (Michael) Serath, Ben (Laura) Janke, Chad (Sarah) Janke, Megan Olivares, Cody Wild, Dylan Wild, Paige Wild; one step-granddaughter, Tricia Georgeson; two great grandchildren, Quinn Janke, Avery Serath; two step great grandchildren, Javon and Deven Williams; brothers and sister, Larry Wild, Richard (Ruth) Wild, Dolly Bartz; other relatives and many friends. Also preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Wild; one sister, Jean Bobholz; and two brothers, Babe Bartz and David Wild. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 605 Madison St., Marshall, WI with Pastor Rob Koski officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and also after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church until the time of services.
