Hailey M. Gabrielson

Hailey M. Gabrielson, 13 of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 5, 2024. At just thirteen years old, Hailey was a remarkable soul with a spirit of care and love that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beautiful light in the lives of her family and friends. 

Hailey was born on August 11, 2011, in Appleton, WI, the daughter of Andrew and Ashley (Hudy) Gabrielson. She attended Riverside Middle School in Watertown. Hailey was a bright and caring young girl who brought light and love to those around her. Hailey cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. She loved camping and creating memories under the stars, finding joy in the simplest of moments shared with those she loved. Her bonds with her brothers, Jordon and Kayden, were strong and filled with laughter and love, creating a legacy of sibling camaraderie that will live on in their hearts. Hailey adored cows, and had many pillows, blankets, and other items with cows on them. She also loved Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. 

Hailey leaves behind her devoted parents, Ashley and Andrew Gabrielson. Her warm and kind heart will be remembered by her loving grandparents: Sarah Gabrielson, Tina (Robert) Romportl, and Don Hudy. Hailey is also survived by a caring family of uncles and an aunt, Peyton (Kaylee) Hudy, Dustin Hudy, and Jessica Smith, along with other relatives, step-relatives, and a multitude of friends who were fortunate to have experienced the joy she brought into the world.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home of Watertown with Rev. Jared Furnish presiding. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to help support the family via the Go Fund Me would be appreciated. 

Hailey's absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. The family would like to bring awareness to the tragic consequences of bullying.
