Gloria Batzler

Gloria Lynn Batzler of Watertown, age 60, passed away suddenly from an automobile accident on Sunday, December 31, 2017. Gloria was born in Wauwatosa to Robert and Dorothy Garcia on March 21, 1957. In 1986, she married Gene Batzler in Milwaukee. She worked as a CNA for many years at Marquardt Village. Throughtout her life,Gloria was a very caring individual, more concerned for others. She had a bubbly personality, was just full of life. Gloria loved music, especially country and oldies and dancing to "her own beat." Gloria and Gene were blessed with 3 children, Stephanie (Bradley ) Bertel, Angela Batzler of Horicon and a son, Gene. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her 3 grandchildren; Kailah and Kasen Bertel and Quinn Muniz. All will miss her very much, along with her sisters; June Jeffery, Judy (Juan) Martinez and brothers; David (Diane) Garcia and James Garcia and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers; Michael Garcia and Robert Garcia, sister; Susie Falbo and brother-in-law Robert Jeffery. Family and friends by call on Friday, January 5th, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home & Cremation Service at 500 Welsh Road, Watertown, Wisconsin.
