DOPKE, GERALDINE E. WATERTOWN Geraldine E. Dopke, age 86, passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Alden Estates of Jefferson. A Celebration of Gerry's Life will be held on Tuesday at 8:00 PM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Life Celebrant Ray Vick officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at svfuneralhome.com. Geraldine E. Miller was born on April 10, 1928 in Athens, WI, the daughter of Raymond and Lyda (Lehman) Miller. On November 27, 1947, she married Harry Dopke, Jr. in Sussex. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2003. Gerry had been a bookkeeper for the former David Golpher Company in Watertown. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Homemakers and the Watertown Senior Center Choir. Gerry is survived by children Harry III (Darlene) Dopke, Randall (Lynn) Dopke, Brian (Judy McFadden) Dopke, Lance (Rhonda) Dopke and Jill (Robert) Ash, grandchildren Colton, Austin, Taylor, Timothy and Scott (Stacey), great grandchildren Emma, Logan and Lauren. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gerry is further preceded in death by her parents and a brother Lloyd Miller.
