Fancy Droster-Huettl

In loving memory of Fancy "Turkey Nugget" Droster-Huettl Fancy, a 10 year old German Shepard service dog, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28 at Sondel Family Veterinary Clinic surrounded by close family and friends. Fancy spent her entire life serving others and saving lives as a heroic service dog. Fancy could best be described as a furry guardian angel for her mama, Angie Huettl. Fancy spent every single second of everyday alongside and always watching over her mama. Not only did Fancy faithfully serve Angie, she brought hope and healing to countless others: "I can't even count the number of tears Fancy licked away as she comforted so many wherever she went" says Angie. Everywhere Fancy went she touched someone's life and brought a smile to their face. Fancy is survived by several dear family members and friends: Angie Huettl (mother) Ellen and Terry Weber (grandparents), Dorothy Huettl (great grandma), Hannah and Kayla Huettl (aunts), Kit, Aaron, Kaylin, Jessica, and Baby Frankie (cousins), and family friends, including Erin Lukensmeyer, Michelle Kaetterhenry, Don Meeder, and Catherine Treece. Fancy was preceded in death by her father Jeffery Droster. A special thanks to Sondel Family Veterinary Clinic who went above and beyond to care for Fancy like their own. There will be two memorial services to honor and celebrate Fancy's life on her 11th birthday: Wausau Memorial:  November 21, 2015 Noon to 4 PM Location:  Angie and Fancy's Home 920 W. Campus Drive, Apt. 20, Wausau WI  54401 Madison Memorial:  November 22, 2015 11 AM to 2 PM UW-Madison Education Building 1000 Bascom Mall, Room 159 Madison WI  53706 Fancy Memorial Fund A designated account is set up at CoVantage Credit Union in Wausau to help Angie pay for the various end-of life expenses, including veterinary and surgical expenses, memorial expenses, and other related expenses. We are hoping to raise $5,000 to cover all of the expenses.
