BOWMAN,  ELLA  H. "ELLIE" WATERTOWN   Ella H. "Ellie" Bowman, age 83, passed away on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at Clearview Care Center in Juneau. Funeral services will be on Monday at 12:30 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Douglas Carter officiating. Family burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Family and friends may call from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family, would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at svfuneralhome.com. Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation Service is serving the family. Ella Hilda "Ellie" Haferman was born on July 20, 1931 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Harold and Hilda (Umland) Haferman. On August 15, 1951, she married Edward Bowman at St. John's Lutheran Church and he preceded her in death in 1976. Ellie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Ellie had been employed at the former National Food Store, former My Store and Pick and Save, all in Watertown. She had been a Packers and Brewers fan and had been an avid bowler. Survivors include her children Susan (John Austin) Saxby and Jeffery (Cynthia) Bowman, six grandchildren Justin, Madison, Amanda, Candice, Carin and Grace, two great grandchildren Isaiah and Dalila. She is also survived by a brother Larry Haferman, two sisters in law Marie Haferman and Florence Bowman, a brother in law Harold Bowman, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is further preceded in death her parents, step father Tom Bertel, a brother Donald Haferman, a brother in law Norman Bowman and a sister in law June Bowman.
