October 1, 1935 — April 15, 2019

Elden C. Willing, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Marquardt Manor in Watertown. He was born October 1, 1935 in Watertown, Wisconsin to the late Robert and Marie (Kropf) Willing. On September 1, 1956, Elden married Ethel A. Evans in Watertown at First Congregational Church of Christ. Elden played baseball for Ixonia in the Land O' Lakes league, was an active member of the Ixonia Lions Club and Forever Young senior group of Ashippun. He also enjoyed playing dartball with Ethel and cheering on the Brewers, Badgers, and Packers. Elden was employed by the Waukesha Foundry for 47 years and retired in 1999 and was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Christ in Watertown. He enjoyed the occasional Pabst, the quiet of his back porch, and endless hours on the lawn mower taking care of the ever-expanding lawn. Being an avid sports fan, Elden especially enjoyed the opportunity to watch any of his kids or grandchildren play sports. Elden is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ethel, four children; Jeff (Judy), Steven (Donna), Janet (Dan) Wiedenfeld, and Stacy (Daniel) Winkelman, seven grandchildren; Travis, Tyler (Rebecca), Cory, Erin (Kyle), Carlee, Logan, and Jordan, and 2 great grandchildren; Jerimiah and Sophie, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Elden was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Marie, and his brother Norbert Willing and sister Delores Klug.
