Debra Nichols

NICHOLS, DEBRA J. JOHNSON CREEK Debra J. Nichols, age 56, passed away on Sunday January 9, 2011 at her home. Debra was born on November 3, 1954 in Fort Atkinson, the daughter of John and Peggy (Culler) Hein. She served in the US Navy as a corpsman from July 16, 1979 until September 30, 1992. On November 15, 1991, she married John Nichols in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She had been employed at APV Crepaco, Dungarvin in Madison and De La Rue in Watertown. Debra enjoyed traveling, especially going to the ocean. Debra will be remembered for her sense of humor and willingness to help others. Survivors include her husband John, her mother Peggy Hein of Lake Mills, her daughters Elizabeth (Brook) Woolever of Jefferson, Patricia (John) Shockley of Goose Creek, SC, and Dana (Eric) Stein of Lake Mills, a granddaughter Miranda Thorman, a sister Diane (Dennis) Renz of Lake Mills, 2 brothers Karl (Nancy) Hein of Lake Mills and Eric Hein of Cambridge, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father John Hein. A family gathering will be held. Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home of Watertown is serving the family.
