LOEFFLER CURTIS P. \WATERTOWN Curtis P. Loeffler, age 81, formerly of Lake Mills, died peacefully on Sunday March 28, 2010 at Golden Living Center following a long illness. He was born on November 20, 1928 in Watertown, the son of Paul and Florence (Hoffman) Loeffler. He married Sally Wolfe in 1949. Curt had been employed by NASCO in Fort Atkinson as a purchasing agent. He had been active in the Lake Mills Moravian Church where he played dart ball, ushered and was a former member of the board of trustees, until his health deteriorated. He had been a gifted athlete and enjoyed basketball, baseball and golf, plus time spent with Bubbe, his faithful golden retriever. Survivors include his wife Sally, their children Sandra (Russ) DeBlare of Watertown, Sheri (Ron) Hare of Texas, Don (Linda) Loeffler of Colorado and Jackie (Roy) Ferguson of Washington, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren a brother Jim Loeffler of Grafton, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by an infant son Matthew his parents and a sister Elaine Iffland. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home And Cremation Service with Pastor Barbara Berg of Watertown Moravian Church officiating.
