Chester Przepiora

PRZEPIORA, CHESTER J. WATERTOWN Chester J. Przepiora, age 87, passed away on Tuesday January 11, 2011, at his home. Chester was born on July 15, 1923, in Milwaukee, the son of John and Wanda (Novak) Przepiora. He served in the US Army Air Corp during WW II. On October 16, 1950 he married the former Betty Bienfang in Milwaukee. He had been an LPN and nursing home administrator at several Milwaukee area hospitals and nursing homes. Chester enjoyed playing poker and wining money from his children. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and great grandson. Chester loved to visit with and meet new friends. He had been a drummer in the Milwaukee area. Survivors include his wife Betty, their daughters Cynthia (Michael) Nehlsen of Big Bend, Janis (Richard Dragoo) Hannagan of Watertown and Lisa (Hans Schneider) Przepiora of Oakfield, grandsons Jesse (Nicole) Przepiora and Jake Maxwell Schneider, great grandson Blaise Lee Przepiora, a sister Dorothy (Art) Kaszubowski of Milwaukee, a nephew Jon (Karen) Kaszubowski, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by a daughter Dona Jo Przepiora and his parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the community room at Briarwood Cottages 1406 Evergreen Drive on Saturday from 12 PM to 3 PM. Chester will be remembered for his jocularity, sense of style and his down to earth approach to life. We will be lonesome without him. Online condolences may be left at watertownwifuneralhome.com.
