Caroline Moore

MOORE, CAROLINE M. BEAVER DAM Caroline M. Moore, age 100, formerly of Watertown, passed away at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam on Monday August 1, 2011. Caroline was born on July 27, 1911 in Watertown, the daughter of Otto and Josephine (Brensike) Zimmerling. On December 3, 1940 she married Harry S. Moore in Jefferson, he preceded her in death on April 2, 1996. Caroline was an artist and taught ceramics at the House Of Moore Ceramics in Watertown. In 1965, Caroline and her husband Harry, donated a 99 year old barn to the Octagon House, which stands on the property to this day. Caroline is the last member of her family, she is further preceded in death by her parents. In accordance with Caroline's wishes, there will be no funeral services and she will be cremated.
