Carol Larson

Larson, Carol E. (Nee Anderson) Born to eternal life Monday, September 16, 2013 at the age of 91. Carol was born January 1, 1922 in Watertown, WI. She graduated in 1940 from Watertown High School. She was married to Henry Larson from 1944-1970. Carol resided in Milwaukee from 1947 until the time of her retirement from Aqua Chem in 1987. Carol then moved to Hartland, WI with her daughter. She was an active member of American Baptist Churches throughout her life with final membership at First Baptist Church in Ixonia. Carol was a Packer fan and activities she enjoyed included league bowling, bird watching and playing Skipbo or Uno with family and friends. Carol was a cherished and loving mother of Kristine (Bruce) Parker and James (Barbara) Larson. Dear grandmother of Charlie (Julie), Todd, Wendy (Joey), Stephanie, Kristine (Ron), Alex and Jason. Proud great-grandmother of Brad (Meg), Mitch, Max, Dan, Abby, Tanner, Joe, Austin, Anakin and great-great-grandmother of Natalie and Jaxson. She is also survived by nephew Andy (Colleen) Anderson of CA, her church family and many special friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents James and Elli (Augustine) Anderson, brothers Allen, Earl, Victor and sisters Margaret and Ethel. Carol will be remembered for her keen sense of humor and wit, her patience and gentle acceptance of others. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday September 21st, 2013 at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Watertown's Oak Hill Cemetery.
