Beverly Lazers

LAZERS, BEVERLY MARSHALL Beverly Lazers, age 80, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2011 at So Close To Home Care Center in Marshall. She was born on November 22, 1930 to Ernie and Lena (Haldiman) Martin. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1948. She was married on October 8, 1949 to Robert L. Lazers and resided in Marshall where they raised four sons. Beverly served as organist for St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marshall for many years. She especially enjoyed working with the children's and adult choirs. Besides family activities, she particularly enjoyed music, art and traveling with her husband, Bob. She will always be remembered as having a smile on her face and a positive attitude. Survivors include her husband, Bob; and her children Mike (Kate) of Del Rio, TX; Jerry (Maureen) of Marshall; Steve (Donnita) of Marshall and Tom (Kari) of Deerbrook; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernie and Lena Martin and two brothers, Ray and Vernon Martin. Funeral services will be on Saturday September 3, 2011. Visitation will be at 10 am and the funeral Mass will be at 11 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marshall. There will be a private burial at a later date. Hart-Vick Funeral Home of Marshall is serving the family.
