STRUBE, ALICE B. A. WATERTOWN Alice Beryl Adrienne Strube (née Leverson), age 89, was born to eternity on Friday December 27, 2013. Alice was the daughter of Leonard and Blanche (Njoss) Leverson and was born in Idaho on September 26, 1924. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald W. Strube, on October 24, 1942 in Milwaukee. Alice and Don owned the former Red Apple Antiques in Watertown for 26 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Alice is survived by her husband of 71 years, Donald, their children Dennis (Marcia) Strube, Alan Strube, Karen (Joe) Chadwick, Janet (Mark Lukas) Strube, Mark Strube and Barbara (Dan) Sterwald, grandchildren Kim (Scott) Fuller, Bill (Karin) Strube, Megan Strube, and Thomas Strube, great grandchildren Hannah, Abigail, and Victoria Fuller. She is also survived by her brother Jack (Janet) Leverson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, son David, three brothers and five sisters. Alice was known for her warm smile, kind heart and quick wit. Her poetry and stories delighted and touched many. She was an inventor, poet, entrepreneur and treasure hunter who deeply loved her family. An angel on earth, she now has her wings. We will miss her every day. Visitation will be Thursday, January 2nd, 9:30-10:30 AM at Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home in Watertown. Service immediately following with Pastor John Kelling officiating. Memorials to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation, would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at svfuneralhome.com
