Addelyn E. Farah

Addelyn Elizabeth Farah, age 4 months and 30 days, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on February 14, 2025, at Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee.

Addelyn was born on September 15, 2024, the daughter of Serenity Schaefer and Austin Farah. Addelyn was a popular girl at Children’s, beloved by many staff members. She quickly stole hearts with her long eyelashes, curly hair, cheery smile, and chubby cheeks. Addelyn had everyone wrapped around her fingers and earned the phrase “Cuddles or I’ll Cry”. She enjoyed spending time rocking, using her playmat and toys, looking at her contrast mobile, and reading many many books. Addelyn’s best friend in the hospital was her IV Tower, Tommy Tower, she loved to stare and listen and if anyone dared touch it she would supervise them. Addelyn was a strong fighter as she battled Epidermolysis Bullosa. Addelyn can now find peace, as she’s gained her butterfly wings. 

Addelyn is survived by her loving parents Serenity and Austin, maternal grandparents Kerri Schaefer and Jeff Schaefer, paternal grandparents Doug and Ann Farah, and aunt Alisa (Chris) Keitel with Baby K. Addelyn is also survived by a number of other relatives. 

Addelyn is preceded in death by her great-grandparents and aunt Iesha Puyleart. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home of Watertown with Rev. Dr. Robert Loggans presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. 

The family would like to invite everyone to a Celebration of Life luncheon (from 12-4pm) following the service at the Watertown Elks Lodge located at 117 N 1st St, Watertown, WI 53094
